University of Iowa offers Bowie scholarship to play football
The Bear defensive end receives his seventh offer.

After attending a football camp today at the University of Iowa, West Branch High School sophomore Jeff Bowie has received an offer from Kirk Ferentz and the Hawkeye football program.

Iowa marks the seventh school that has sent a scholarship offer to the defensive end. The other schools include Northern Illinois, Iowa State, Nebraska, Minnesota, Virginia Tech, and Vanderbilt.
Also this month, Bowie will be attending a football camp at Notre Dame, a school that has shown interest in having him join their football team after graduation.
Congratulations, Jeff, for all of the offers you have received so far. However, we're still looking forward to seeing you and your teammates in red and black come this fall.
