Former Bear lineman Jack Rummells has been named to the 2014 Sports Network preseason All-America team. Rummells, a 2010 West Branch High School graduate and starting lineman for the UNI Panthers, was one of three UNI players named to the prestigious team. The Sports Network preseason All-America teams include 101 players from 59 schools and 13 Football Championship Subdivision conferences. In the 2013 season, Rummells started all 12 games for the Panthers, helping create holes that allowed UNI running backs to gain 1,962 yards on the ground last season. Rummells was also part of a line that only allowed 16 sacks during the season.
