For the second year in a row, the West Branch Football team has earned and been awarded with the Excellent Academic Achievement award from the Iowa High School Athletic Association. The IHSAA recognizes teams that have collectively achieved in the classroom.

To be eligable for and win the award, a team (Freshman through Seniors) must achieve a combined 3.0+ GPA for the entire football season semester.

West Branch High School will receive a certificate recognizing the team's accomplishment. Each football player and manager will also receive a certificate of recognition.

Congratulations to the players, managers, coaching staff, educators, and administration of West Branch High School.

Recently, three Bear football players were honored with Academic All-State awards from the IHSAA. Read all about it by clicking here.
