A little over a week after receiving a full-ride scholarship offer from Northern Illinois University, Bear defensive end Jeff Bowie has received another full-ride scholarship offer.

The sophomore has now received an offer from Iowa State University. Head coach Matt Campbell and the Cyclones coaching staff have expressed their interest in Bowie in one of the most meaningful ways possible.

As we recapped earlier this month, Bowie, in his first two years as a Bear, has amassed over 14 sacks and 50 tackles from his defensive end position. He has also played an integral part in the offensive line, paving the way for a successful passing and rushing game.

We are about two years away from the 2021 National Signing Day where Bowie would first be able to sign a letter of intent to attend a school. Until then, Bowie may continue to receive offers in addition to the great ones he has received from NIU and now Iowa State.
