This past Sunday, July 29th, members of the West Branch Football team assisted HyVee in a clean-up of a major highway in the Iowa City area.

Through the Adopt-a-Highway program, HyVee employees and West Branch Football players were dispatched along Highway 1 in Iowa City to assist in cleaning-up the major highway. For a couple of hours, players, lead by the team's CLAW group (Community, Leadership, Academics, and Winning), picked up trash and other non-biodegradables in an effort to keep our environment healthy and clean. After work was complete, the players were treated to a grillout from HyVee.

Also in exchange for their efforts, HyVee and the Franzoni family have generously offered to cater the upcoming Mother Bear Brunch, a meal and afternoon of fun for mothers of Bear Football players.
