West Branch quarterback Beau Cornwell has been named to this week's American Family Insurance ALL-USA Performers of the Week for his performance against Bellevue this past Friday. The weekly list is put together by the Des Moines Register and includes players from all classes across the entire state of Iowa.

Cornwell is only one of five players to have been selected. Here's what the Register has to say about him:

Cornwell passed for a school-record 343 yards in a 45-41 victory over Bellevue. He shattered the previous best of 303, set in 1996. Cornwell completed 18 of 27 attempts and threw three touchdown passes. He also rushed for one touchdown, kicked a 27-yard field goal and went 6-for-6 on extra points.
