The 2015 All-State team has been announced by the Iowa Newspaper Association and three West Branch Football players have been honored on the list.

Luke Lenoch, Jacob Barnhart, and Colton Dietz have all been named as All-State football players for the 2015 season.

Running back Luke Lenoch earns All-State honors for his second year in a row. The junior rushed for 1,829 yards on 227 attempts this season (8+ yards per carry) and 25 total touchdowns. Lenoch has been named to second team All-State.

Lenoch's partner in crime, sophomore offensive lineman Jacob Barnhart, was a pivotal force on the offensive line this season, not only opening holes for Lenoch, Kindon, and Barnes to run, but for protecting the blind side of quarterback Cooper Koenig. This is the second year in a row that a West Branch sophomore has earned All-State honors. Barnhart has been named to second team All-State.

Colton Dietz has been named to third team All-State as a defensive lineman. The junior came on this season as an important piece of the Bears' defensive line, tallying 53 total tackles and 6 total sacks.

Congratulations gentlemen!
