Friday night in Mt. Vernon, the Bears Varsity and Fresh-Soph teams took on the Mount Vernon Mustangs (class 2A) in a controlled scrimmage. On Cornell College's turf field, the two Pedersen-coached squads traded turns on offense and defense, in regular game mode, two-minute drills, and goal-line stands. It was a great warm-up for each squad before they begin their seasons next Friday night, August 28th.
