Records broken in the 2014 season

The 2014 West Branch Football season was certainly one to the remember, as the team finished 10-1 overall, 9-0 in the regular season, and with a district championship.

It was also a season for the record books, as the team broke 11 school records, some of which stood for many years until 2014. We have compiled all of the records broken during this past season. Check them out below!

Most carries in a game by a player: 40, Luke Lenoch vs North Cedar

Most rushing yards in a single game: 324 yards, Luke Lenoch vs North Cedar

Most rushing yards in a season: 2,105 yards, Luke Lenoch

Most passing yards in a season (team): 1,689 yards

Most points per game average (team): 44.2 points

Most PAT in a season (team): 56 PATs

Most PAT in a season (individual): 56 PATs, Devin Kindon

Longest TD rush in a game: 94 yards, Luke Lenoch vs Durant and Sigourney-Keota

Most receiving yards in a single game: 155, Matt Shawver vs Durant (ties Tyler Donovan, 2013 vs Sigourney-Keota)

Least rushing yards allowed in a game: -39 yards vs Wilton

Least total yards allowed in a game: -16 yards vs Wilton

Class 1A, District 5 Championship: 24th time (including conference championships)

Playoff Appearance: 22nd time
