Joined by Wilton head coach Lance Pedersen, Bear head coach Butch Pedersen was interviewed on the Coaches Corner on March 8th. In the interview, which aired on AM800 KXIC, the Pedersens talked about the newly released 2014-2015 football schedules and their father-son relationship when it comes to football and playing against one another. Butch describes playing against his son: "I hate it. I don't like to play against Lance because one of us will get upset. I would rather not play that game because we want each other to be successful. But you have to put that aside and get your football team ready to play." The Bear head coach also had this to say about the upcoming season: "We want to get big up front. We return our entire offensive line and quarterback so we do have some potential with the players coming back. We have to be able to produce. In our district, Wilton and North Cedar are going to be very strong, so there is pressure." KXIC has posted the interview on their website and it can be streamed below.
