The Regals are the prohibitive favorite to win another state title. They will enter Friday night with a 44 game winning streak. Riley Dixon has rushed for 276 yards and is averaging 9.9 yards per carry. Junior QB Drew Cook, son of former West Branch great and Regina coach Marv Cook, is under center. He has thrown for 359 and 4 scores....West Branch enters the game with injury question marks, but are ready for the challenge. The Bears need no extra incentive in this game. West Branch has not defeated Regina since 2006. QB Lucas Lamont is 12th in Class 1A with 355 yards passing. Michael Gould has eclipsed the 100 yard rushing barrier in both contests.

The Bears jumped out to a 9-0 lead in the 2nd round of the 2012 Class 1A playoffs, but the Regals scored 27 unanswered points to win 27-9 on the road to winning a 3rd consecutive state title.
