Monday night at the Little Rose Bowl in West Branch, the Bears' 2014 season came to end after falling to Dike-New Hartford 35-18.
It was a battle of strong, physical, evenly-matched teams. The Bears made some critical mistakes early in the game that put them down 14-0 in the first quarter.
The Bears played well in the second half but it was too much of a hurdle to climb over.
In this game, Luke Lenoch rushed for 137 yards, putting his season total at 2,105, which is a new school record.
The Bears finished the season with an undefeated regular season, a Class 1A District 5 championship, and an overall record of 10-1.
