Kevin Braddock

Varsity Special Teams, Defensive Backs, Wide Receivers

Coach Braddock is a one of the most decorated athletes in West Branch Football lore. He was member of the 1989 and 1991 State Championship teams, and also a 1990 semi-finalist. His 311 rushing yards and 5 touchdowns in the 1991 state title game are still 1A records to this date. The yardage total stood the test of time, lasting 21 seasons before a Bear running back would eclipse it. Played in the 1992 Iowa Shrine Bowl.

He went on to play for the University of Iowa before graduating college. Kevin now works for the Johnson County Roads department as Road Superintendent. His family includes wife Lisa, and daughters Lauren and Peyton.
