Before the West Branch Schools' mascot became the Bears, they were the Polar Bears and sported a purple and white color scheme. This September, the football team will host their first annual Throwback Game at Oliphant Street Field, wearing purple and white uniforms, similar to those worn by the Polar Bears football teams. In anticipation of the game, t-shirts have been made to help promote and support the event. The shirts, as seen in this post, come in purple or white and feature "1st Annual Throwback Game, September 12, 2014" and a football with a bear in the middle. Available in both short-sleeve and long-sleeve, the shirts cost $12 with all proceeds going to help purchase the uniforms.
